Tiffany Burridge is a Physiotherapist graduated from the University of Notre Dame. She is passionate about practicing evidence-based care and assisting patients to be in informed and control of their healthcare goals. Tiffany also has a degree of Psychology and extensive experience as an ASCA qualified Olympic Weightlifting coach and APPI /DMA Pilates instructor. She is interested in both rehabilitating injury and assisting the weekend warrior achieve performance goals. Tiffany also works with Activity matters, where they specialise in assisting Worker’s Compensation claims clients in a mobile capacity. Core Medical is now a Mixed Billing practice. Dr Pertwee is a UK trained and worked as a GP in the UK for 14 years prior to moving to Australia in 2017. He has special interests in Chronic Disease Management, Diabetes and Dementia, having previously worked as a GP specialist in Dementia. He also performs most joint injections, minor surgical procedures and Implanon™ insertions/removals.

Dr Natasha Gilchrist trained in London, qualifying in 1998. She worked as a GP in Sussex, UK, until coming to WA in 2016. She has a special interest in sports and exercise medicine and is able to offer dry needling for sports injuries. She also specialises in women's health and can insert/remove Implanon, Mirena coils and perform cervical screening tests. She also has an interest in memory issues including dementia, paediatrics and the management of chronic disease. In her spare time she enjoys competing in triathlon and spending time with her family.

Dr Katharine Merrifield has joined our practice in 2023 from the United Kingdom. Originally from South Africa, she acquired her undergraduate medical degree from the University of Cape Town in 2007. She has worked and trained in the UK since 2010, initially in Paediatrics where she achieved her Membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She subsequently completed her General Practice postgraduate training and has worked within the UK primary health-care setting ever since. Dr Merrifield is passionate about all aspects of General Practice and provides holistic and evidence-based care. She has a special interest and experience in Children’s Health, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Elderly Care Medicine and Chronic Disease Management.

Dr John Iyamu comes to us from the UK where he completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training, followed by GP training. He then went on to be a successful practice owner and principal GP before moving to Australia in 2016. Dr Iyamu is passionate about all areas of medicine and general practice, in particular chronic disease management such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and geriatrics.

Dr Eoin Mc Donnell did his undergraduate medical training and post-graduate GP training in Ireland, followed by a Masters in Sport Medicine. He worked as a GP in Ireland for several years before moving to Australia in 2012. He has worked in the Port Kennedy area since then before establishing Core Medical in 2016. Since early 2021, Dr McDonnell has stepped away from consulting in Core Medical to focus more on business development and leadership roles. As the business of running a general practice becomes increasingly complex, this move has been necessary to ensure to effective growth and continuity of the practice going forward so that it can continue to service the growing medical needs of the community. It has also allowed him to set up other services for the community, such as the Port Kennedy Respiratory Clinic located next door to Core Medical, which has offered a dedicated service for people with coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms to be seen safely when ill and be tested for COVID-19. Since March 2021 this clinic has also been offering COVID-19 vaccinations.

Dr David Hill is from Ireland and went to the UK for his undergraduate training. Pamela is a Physiotherapist and Educator with over 20 years' experience in the management of Musculoskeletal conditions across the public, private and education sectors in the UK and Australia. Pamela has worked as a lecturer in the Undergraduate Physiotherapy program at the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) supporting and developing students to become the next generation of Physiotherapists. Pamela is keen to contribute in a positive way to the health of the Port Kennedy/Warnbro community. She hopes to facilitate the best outcome for a person, through open and honest communication, evidence based practice, shared-decision making and empowering the individual to play an active part in their health care journey. His special interest is in skin cancer management, both medical and surgical, and skin checks including the use of Dermoscopy & mole scan photography. He also does other minor surgical procedures for benign skin lesions including cyst removal, skin tag removal and benign lesion removal. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery and Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy from University of Queensland. For the last 6 years, he has led a skin clinic within a GP practice. Outside of practice Dr Iyamu enjoys running, swimming, canoeing and spending time with his family.
